Forums: What movie(s) made you cry?

Pretty simple. Just, well, what movies made you cry? Or at least what scenes from movies (or even TV) because I don't think anyone has cried during an entire movie before.

This could be tears of sorrow or tears of joy. If you got teary-eyed that counts. If you got the sniffles (other than being sick) that counts too. If you felt emotionally charged and ready to cry, well there you go.

In fact, I've cried at some movies. Some of which were good cries and others that were strange and I regret now. But anyway, these are just some that got me going.

Donnie Darko (Michael Andrews' & Gary Jules' "Mad World" cover playing at the end.)

How to Train Your Dragon (Cried whenever I could. So...like every 5 minutes. Both of sorrow and joy.)

Kick-Ass (Hit-Girl trying to save Big Daddy and Dave in the warehouse AND: Kick-Ass jetpacking away with Hit-Girl.)

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Tibby visiting Bailey in the hospital --> Tibby and Brian visiting Bailey.)

Spirited Away (Chihiro running scared after her parents have turned into pigs AND: Haku realizing who he is.)

Tangled (Final scene in tower. Won't spoil it for those who have not seen it.)

So...what made you cry?

Field of Dreams. The ending game of toss between father and son.

It's a Wonderful Life. Form "Merry Christmas, Bedford Falls!" to "Way to go, Clarence!"

The only movie that has gotten me close to water works is probably Schindler's List at the end. When Schindler realizes he could have saved a lot more lives.

Dead Poets Society. Ending scene. "Oh Captain, my Captain."

@ejk1 I take that back. Got pretty close with Dead Poet's Society, too.

@SpaceCowboy I can find things without being tagged. Don't worry about it. As for reviews, I'll admit to being slack in my reading, but I've been working a lot since school ended. I haven't even been able to watch films I have at home.

Well, and Good Will Hunting. "It's not your fault"

Taking Chance gets me everytime. I end up crying throughout half of the movie.

Recently, Rabbit Hole made me cry quite a few times. Very sad movie.

I don't cry. I don't tear up. I'm too cool to cry or to tear up. But if I were to tear up, it'd be during Schindler's List, maybe for Braveheart, or possibly at the end of LOTR. Never during a comedy, but maybe for Up or Toy Story 3. And if I wasn't such a macho man, A Beautiful Mind might get to me. So yeah, I never cry.

Also, if I did tear-up, I would've when Jim was in the office with Michael on Steven Carrel's last episode of "The Office." But remember, I don't cry, because I'm a man and I like sports and yelling and women and motorbikes and barbeque beef sandwiches and and the Home Depot. Arrrrr!

Well, not as an adult, but when I was young I cried at the ending of My Ghost Dog. Like no joke, I was crying like crazy. At the time I had a Labrador so, I didn't want him to pass so, it was a sad moment for me.

Classic films guaranteed to make people cry: Old Yeller and Brian's Song.

Forrest Gump. When Forrest is running through the jungle looking for Bubba and then Bubba dies in his eye on the beach..Gets to me everytime. Also There's the Lion King, particularly, the scene when Musfasa died. I don't know many who don't cry at that though.

Hereafter: The kid trying to speak to his dead brother.

Titanic: Jack floating down into the deep ocean after death.

Platoon: Do I need to say it?

@jptheredskull i don't know about crying at Mufasa's death, but each and every time I see that part, it makes me want to turn into a cartoon and jump in to beat Scar's cat butt

Land Before Time...THE FIRST ONE. When the mom dies...it gets me every time.
