  • Lets see, Scary Movie 2 is the second worst movie I have seen, White Chicks number 1. Little man, new number one, and I havent watched it yet.

  • This is the dumbest idea i've ever seen. The amazing thing about this movie, and White Chicks, is that the entire "scheme" is based on the makeup job..or in this case, terrible amatuer photo-shop head crop job. So if your entire movie's platform IS makeup...you'd think that the makeup would actually be GOOD! But its not...in fact its awful. White Chicks and little man are two ideas that should have been 2 minute long Mad TV sketches and nothing else. I can feel the collective IQ of America go down 20 points everytime the Wayans direct a movie.

  • oh it's just typical Wayans Brothers humor- no harm done.

  • Problem is, there is no humor.

  • I don't think they were trying to make the most realistic technology for the head, they just wanted it to look funny.

The only thing I found funny about the trailer was that they promote the movie saying "From the creators of White Chicks." Oh yea, that will definitely pack the theater.

Agreed- and it gets a bit of a chuckle out of me.

I thought the Scary Movie films were all pretty funny -- I mean, I am not looking for comedic genius in this film- just a laugh or two...

I don't know what to think. I laughed a little bit during White Chicks. I do and I don't wanna see Little Man. Not sure if it will be good.

  • Yea- White Chicks was a bit of a trip- looking for the same type of humor in this one....

  • Oh c'mon guys- cut the Wayans Brothers a break- what have they ever done to you...

  • You might also be interested in knowing that the plot of the movie is almost exactly like that of a Bugs Bunny cartoon from 1954 called "Baby Buggy Bunny". I don't know if this consciously influenced the Wayans' movie or if they just didn't bother to see if such a corny idea had actually been done before, but being a former Looney Tunes fan I thought I'd shed some light.

  • Well if you didn't hate on it when the Lonney Tunes were doing it, why are you hating on it now?! Bugs Bunny is pure comedic genius ;)

    So is this movie good??

  • Well if you didn't hate on it when the Lonney Tunes were doing it, why are you hating on it now?! Bugs Bunny is pure comedic genius ;)

Because 1. when they made it back in the 50s, the idea was previously unthought of, thus making it interesting, and 2. it was well done and had the classic Looney Tunes irreverent spirit, thus making it funny. Putting Marlon Wayons' head on a 9-year-old midget's body and having him do slapstick with Shawn Wayons for 90 minutes isn't funny, it's cringingly unoriginal.

Now my question to you is, why are you being so defensive of this thing that you apparently think is typical and harmless?

Oh I'm not- I really don't care-- I just think it is a harmless movie that isn't really worth criticizing. It's just that simple fun- I guess I won't even waste my time debating it-- that's how harmless I find it to be.
