Forums: Help! Trying to find OLD Animated Movies

Hello everyone!

There was an animated movie either from the 70's or 80's that I'm trying to find the title of. It starts off with a little girl. (The way the characters looked remind me kind of the way the cartoon people look on Pokemon) The girl worked in a restaurant type of place and the couple who took care of her (not her parents) mistreated her. She was like their servant. Somehow this man comes and takes her away and brings her up as his own. The setting when she is older is during some kind of war. I think the man who took her in ends up captive in some kind of prison. The girl falls in love with a guy who endes up joining the military. I'm sad to say that I only remember bits and pieces and don't quite remember the ending (I'm sure it was a good one). I think the girls name is Corsette or Collette. I would appreciate any guesses on this one.

I'm looking for the titles of 2 movies, I will try to describe them as best as I can.

1. This movie was set on a farm with a bunch of farm animals and the main character was some sort of rooster. Some of the characters (animals) got stolen or something like that and the rooster had to go try to save them. I know he dressed like elvis at some point and he had to learn to crow before the sun came up or something like that.....please help.

2. Its an easter movie and the bad guy is a snake. The main character is obviously a bunny. Its a short movie I believe.

Both movies were when I was younger so probably early to mid 90's.

I'm glad I finally found a thread for this.

The movie I'm looking for starts of with a boy who's village lives underground. He and his girlfriend (I think) try to escape to the surface but she has to go back. Also he is attacked by leeches while he is sleeping. It was made before 1998. I can't remember much more about the film.

ok. im looking for a really cartoon movie that was probably written in the 1950s or 60. Its been along time but i think it was about a kid who gets to mars somehow, or maybe a different planet. When he gets there everything is humongous, or hes really tiny. I dont remember much else of the movie and i know i didnt give too many details but hopefully this rings a bell!

im also trying to remember an old animated movie i used to watch in the late 80s early 90s. i remember it being about 2 kids and i think they were lost and in the end of the movie they turn into wolves. its driving me crazy i gotta see it again!

I know EXACTLY the film your looking for, I don't know the name myself. To add to the description, the children were not only lost/searching but they were hunted down by a fire demon of some sort. They are turned into wolves by a strange creature made of earth. there may have been some live action backgrounds during chase scenes if i remember correctly. Thanks!

My fiancee LOVES The Sea Prince and the Fire Child, and told me the anime movie was actually originally a book. I am on the hunt for this book as a wedding present to him (we're getting married in February next year). I've done my research, and have come up with only this: the original story is called "Shiriusu no Densetsu" by Shintaro Tsuji - he founded the Sanrio co., and was the producer for the Sea Prince/Fire Child anime (which was distributed by Sanrio).

I have been searching off-and-on for about 4 or 5 years now (we'll have been together for 9 when we get married), and this book--if it even exists?--has been the one gift that has always eluded me. Birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas's have all come and gone, and the closest I've ever come to getting him this is the VHS cartoon feature from a comic-convention. I am in the process of trying to procure the DVD release that is out ... but this book would just be perfect.

What I need help with, is if anyone can tell me if this book even truly exists?! If I'm pulling my hair out for nothing, somebody please stop me. If I'm just not looking in the right place, somebody please re-direct me. Was he mis-informed? ISthere truly a book based on the story The Sea Prince and the Fire Child? And if so, where oh WHERE can I find it?!

I'm looking for an aminated movie maybe in the 80's. Its not Gallavants, but, it involves an ant colony. The only thing I can remember is there is a girl ant who doesn't want to spend the rest of her life raising little ant babies and then she has her eye on the prince ant, maybe he's the prince, I can't remember. But, he always wears this blue cape. Well, he saves her from this aardvark thing with this giant tongue. They fall in love and happy ever after or something. Can anyone help me?

The first I saw as a young child and don't recall much, so I'm interested in seeing it again: I recall there was an Easter Bunny (or maybe a regular bunny?), something about solid green eggs and snow. It was on network television in the 70's. The move is probably not "Easter Egg Morning" as that appears to be released in 1992.

The other is the animated religious film about a mean old Giant outcast by the humans living nearby. The North wind and others coming dancing around and bury him in an eternal windy winter snow until he befriends a little child with bloody holes in his hands, whereupon it's spring.

I appreciate any leads!

oh my loving God....how...the hell did you find this?...are you Batman?

I really need help on this movie since its title has eluded me for years. It is a cartoon about a young blonde girl who is kidnapped by dragon and taken to this kind of dark place. Eventually her and a bunch of other girls join up who were also kidnapped by this dragon to battle the evil there.
All I remember is at the very end they battle this goblin like things and turn everything into a beautiful kingdom filled with blooming flowers. Afterwards they are transformed into these pretty dresses with some flower as their main theme for each girl (roses, etc.)
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! Any hints or comments would be much appreciated!:biggrin:

I just remember some details about the movie. At the very end just as they were about to defeat the queen goblin they sang a song to turn the entire kingdom beautiful. Also, on the way to the castle one of the girls, the blonde one, thought she saw a pizza joint and went towards it. however, it was a disco joint trap, and eventually they won. (there were like holes in the ground with music playing the background). but yes, at the end their song even turns the queen beautiful and transforms the goblins. Hope this helps!

i remember this teenage boy (i think it was anime, not sure) who played the violin or something like that
and he enters this fantasy world and theres a charcter named Treble i think it was. and the whole movie there's alot of classical music.

I think she wishes on a star or something like that and her horse can talk and there is magic of some kind haha. Um she assigns these other kids I think 1 boy and 2 girls with powers/magic. The bad guys are a guy and a girl who have this weird spray that kills flowers and makes people angry.

Thats all I remember and it's killing me that I can't think of it.
