A full-length trailer for Toy Story 3 has just been released. You can find it here:

I'm ambivalent about this. While the first half is sentimental (and kind of sad), the second half sets up a Great Escape-style little adventure and seems to go strictly for the comedy. So the question on my mind is, will it have the substance? The first two movies found new dimensions to take their toys-are-alive concept by using it to convey solid themes, and carried them with touches of pretty brilliant, clever humor, much of which I didn't even get until rewatching as an adult. This trailer isn't a really good indication that the new movie's going to do the same. On the other hand, I can't say it's a bad trailer either, and with Pixar's grip firmly on the reins, I still give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll deliver.

Obviously, I'll watch it. The first two were fantastic.

I too give Pixar the benefit of the doubt with this - I trust that the story will be just as great as the previous two. I can't really judge Pixar movies by their initial trailers anyway...they're really good at giving you just enough...and then blowing you away when you watch the film. I'll definitely watch this next year.

i think pixar,s is drawing this out now.the battle for the anime films is strong and toy story should pull out now.it,s gone it,s sell by date now

I agree with watchthis. They normally do a good job of giving you enough from their movies and Toy Story was like the first and biggest of all the Pixae movies and I don't think they'd risk ruining the franchise at all with a faulty storyline. I'm looking forward to it.

Not the best trailer, but I'm THRILLED to see anything Pixar does, so I'm not worried!

I'm pretty excited to meet all the new characters! Love the Pricklepants hedgehog and Lots-o bear....and I LOVE when Ken meets Barbie in the trailer :D

Guaranteed to enjoy the film! Pixar's done it again, it seems....but I guess that's not really a surprise :-P

This is a movie that has charmed audiences young and old to Pixar and another critical and commercial success has proved to be.Too much was expected and Toy Story 3D and do not go together., Andy, is heading to college off and after a series of fortunate and unfortunate events, the whole gang ends up in a local daycare.. Since I was a little skeptic played a trailer while others suffer if Toy Story was based on the old school who seemed distracted as pure cinema.

I really like this movie. It's end was really superb..
