It's insane, I'm only going to see Transformers tonight, but I already heard so much about the trailer that plays before it... Anyone heard about it? A JJ Abrams (from LOST) production that seems to be a monster movie filmed with hand held cameras. Except that no one really knows what monster it's about. Best guess seems to be Godzilla, but some people say it's Voltron or something??!? I would bet in Godzilla though (unfortunately, because I think another remake after the Matthew Broderick flop is a bad choice).
LOL I love internet buzz though I can't wait to watch the trailer tonight . Some say it's one of the best trailers ever?

it looked pretty good, but its a pretty stupid marketing idea to release a teaser for a movie that doesn't have a title yet. That's what made Michael Bay so pissed off about the way Dreamworks advertised The Island in America.

I supose the whole point is creating a lot of mystery around the whole thing, to increase the buzz.. Hence we don't even know the title.. I guess it's working too..
The Island trailers were funny because they practically told us the entire plot of the movie. XD I hate that!

As I said in the trailers section, this was probably the best TEASER Ive ever seen. The only bad thing is the fact that it doesnt have a title. Without a title people in the audience were left thinking "what the hell was that?" instead of "that movie looks awesome!"

Yeah, the funny thing is, everyone's discussing it anyways, even without knowing the title (there are numerous blogs that try to keep up to date news about it).
Oh, I saw Transformers last night (which was awesome) but they didn't show the trailer, must be a US only thing :| But I managed to watch it somewhere on the internet, and I must say, I was really impressed.
Doesn't seem to me it's about Godzilla anymore though.

Also like adonihs says back at DeviantART:
"At the end a girl goes "What is it? Is it coming this way"
and to her response, a man goes "I saw it! It's a lion, it's huge!""
But still, I don't think a movie about Voltron would be shot in this way. That's insane. So it's probably something completely new and exciting that sprang out of JJ Abrams mind.

This trailer most certainly confused me. Though it seems all hints point towards the Voltron movie, it doesn't seem like Voltron is far enough into production to tease people with a 2008 release for January.

here are clues about the film
also of you check the release date i thinki it's a clue 1-18-08 , in the book of revelation (Apocalypse chapter)Chapter 18 verse 8 it says (now i'm translating this from french so ii is not word for word accurate : Heres why , in one day , wounds will melt on her (talking about babylone the tall),pest ,grief and famine, she will be consume by fire
A giant monster movie (currently referred to internally as Cloverfield; the monster itself is referred to as "The Parasite", not to be confused with the film project The Parasyte) that is shot using home video cameras from the point of view of people who are experiencing an attack on New York City.

Wow that's really specific. So it's what, a giant tapeworm?
