First Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’ Debuts December 13th

The first footage from this sci-fi thriller will be in theaters attached to ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’. It will run 1 minute and 43 seconds.

The first trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures' Interstellar, the first movie from Christopher Nolan since last summer's The Dark Knight Rises, is set to debut December 13th. Directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy), the production has traveled the globe to utilize a mixture of 35mm anamorphic and IMAX film photography, bringing to the screen a script based on the combination of an original idea by Christopher Nolan and an existing script by Jonathan Nolan, originally developed for Paramount Pictures and producer Lynda Obst.

The story chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

Interstellar was released November 7th, 2014 and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, John Lithgow. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

    This is my most anticipated movie of 2014 for sure!! Only about 11 months away i cant wait to see some footage! Nolan is one of the best directors in the game right now! So talented and the cast for this movie is top notch !

    @thedude1 Interesting to say the least. He's definitely big into the mystery/thriller and sci-fi genres. It would be cool to see him branch out and take a darker, Fincher-esque approach to some of his films. Insomnia was good, but it wasn't dark enough for my liking.

    @thedude-abides I don't think you are in the minority. I'm a giant Nolan Batman fan, however his work there is done and its time he goes and works on different genres. I'm hoping one day he goes into the horror genre. That be interesting.
