Dwayne Johnson took to his Instagram account today to give everyone the first look at his upcoming California earthquake disaster movie, San Andreas. "The Rock" calls the movie "the first ever 3D earthquake disaster movie."

Set in the aftermath of a devastating California earthquake, the movie follows a helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his quest to save his estranged daughter. The movie is directed by Brad Peyton and stars Alexandra Daddario, Carla Gugino and Art Parkinson.

"Puttin' in a lot of hard ass work and proud to play my next role... Los Angeles Fire Department Air Squadron Rescue. Shooting starts in 4 weeks. Biggest earthquake of all time hits... SAN ANDREAS. #FirstInLastOut"

San Andreas comes to theaters May 29th, 2015 and stars Alexandra Daddario, Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, Colton Haynes, Art Parkinson. The film is directed by Brad Peyton.

    @themoviefanatic Yes most likely. Most 3D films you see today get an IMAX release, and since this should be a huge film the odds are good for an IMAX release. However I'm personally against that unless they actually shoot the film in IMAX.
