I might check this movie out casting wise. But to tell you the truth all these movies are the same. Its saw all over again. They need to end it and move on. There's a whole lot of ideas.

Kill or be killed huh? That should at least make things a little more interesting and couldnt go out on the bad note the last one had.

@rudy It would just be stupid to keep doing that tho, doing a Prequel to show what happened before the first, then a Sequel showing what happens after that but still before the first film, and end up doing a Prequel going father back, it's just pointless.

@cameowill Well isn't it obvious, the disaster that happened to the 7 of them is the same sh*t that happened to the rest, so why wouldn't he know. He already knows about Death.

Now that I've seen the trailer, this one looks awesome, it looks like its going back into to the days of the first 3 Final Destinations. It looks like it's going to bring back the seriousness and intensity, that 4th FD did not have at all, Oh yeah and bringing Tony Todd back looks like it's going to be even more exciting.

@skywise The only scene in that movie I really liked was the first-person shooter, the part where The Rock was turning into a demon was Badass though. But yeah, plus I found out that the new Batman is gonna be Rebooted after the 3rd one comes out in 2012, and I see what you're saying, but I think everyone is really getting tired of them Rebooting every movie that comes out, I don't for sure. And I'm sure that Writers and Directors also don't want the studio's to control whether the next film they make is either a Prequel or Reboot, take Wes Craven for instance, this is something different but it still counts, he doesn't do 3D movies and My Soul to Take wasn't supposed to be in 3D, there was a new studio that was bought and told Wes that either the film is put in 3D or no release at all. So I think these movie makers that wanna keep doing what they want to their own franchise, they should own their own studio.

I love these movies, but sadly i get tired of them real quick. Most of them dont even need Sequels but they just keep going and going and instead of taking it further, they give u the very same chit but with a new cast. Saw comes to mind, american pie, scream, scary movie, paranormal activity & fast & furious too!, its like damn enough is enough. give us sumthing fresh,....here's a tip to all directors who make chitty movies, If ur gonna keep making Sequels, make them BETTER than the last1, not woRse and not the same.. just BETTER. THANK U FATHER FOR LETTING ME CONFESS!

A bridge collapse? I was hoping it'd be a trainwreck, cause thats exactly what this movie will be.

@frankenfate true but i dont think that people are running out of ideas i think its more a case of the studio execs being less willing to take risks and would rather put out a surefire hit that already has abuilt in audience. This is a studio issue IMO not an artist opinion but i agree that some things have a story that takes more than one film and some movies definatly need to be overhauled (as i like to put it). Doom is a great example of a movie franchise that could have been outstanding but somehow missed the mark.

    4 years agoby @skywiseFlag

  23. FrankenFate

@skywise You're right about that, but the way I see it is that Directors and Writers in general are just simply running out movie ideas anyway. Whether a franchise comes to an end or the storyline hasn't come to a close yet, like so many movies like that, I don't know where to start, Spider-Man for one, hasn't ended and they rebooted it, DareDevil, never had any Sequels at all, they're Rebooting it, and Doom, but I can understand that one I have it on DVD, love it but it can use a better storyline, but anyway, my point is it doesn't matter if a movie franchise has ended already, never had sequels, or isn't close to ending, they'll either keep Rebooting it over and over throughout the years, keep making Prequels and more Sequels to the Prequel, and I agree with most people that some movies needs a Reboot, some need to keep going till the storyline ends completely, and others do need a Prequel depending on how the first film began.

@frankenfate i know i was just making a joke...a bad one granted but my point is that so long as the gore hounds keep turning out they will keep making them. Unfortunatly like any good franchise the more titles added seems to degrade from what made the originals so good. There are exceptions of course but i speak in general terms.

    SPOILER:everyone dies at the end.

  29. FrankenFate

@jason Well that wouldn't make sense because if you watch all of the films and look closely you can see that they talk about the people who lived in the 1st and 2nd FD dying inbetween films.

    4 years agoby @frankenfateFlag

  30. FrankenFate

@skywise Actually, that's more like -never-, every survivor dies in each film, even if they don't die -in- the film, then the next one still tells about how they died inbetween films. I love these films, but I am actually starting to wonder if the writer is ever gonna come up with a storyline telling they find a new way to finally defeat death and bring it too that.
