There has been no shortage of news regarding 20th Century Fox's upcoming superhero reboot The Fantastic Four this week, with star Miles Teller revealing why he signed on on Monday, and a mysterious Reddit user offering unconfirmed plot details yesterday. Today, while promoting his upcoming action-thriller Kingsman: The Secret Service, Matthew Vaughn, who served as a producer on The Fantastic Four, revealed that he has seen the movie, and that, "it's good." Here's what he had to say below, hinting that fans of director Josh Trank's Chronicle will enjoy The Fantastic Four.

"I've seen the movie, it's good. I thought Chronicle was a fantastic movie and [Josh] Trank has gone off and done his version of Fantastic Four. If you like Chronicle, then you'll like this. We're all backing Josh Trank's vision. And hopefully the world will like Josh Trank's vision."

Back in June, 20th Century Fox production president Emma Watts said that The Fantastic Four had found footage elements similar to Chronicle, and it seems that Matthew Vaughn may be hinting at the same thing when he said that Chronicle fans will enjoy Fantastic Four. The only thing that has been released from The Fantastic Four is the official synopsis, which debuted in November, but fans have still not seen any footage or photos of The Fantastic Four stars Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastsic), Michael B. Jordan (The Human Torch), Kate Mara (The Invisible Girl) and Jamie Bell (The Thing). What do you think about these new developments? Chime in with your thoughts below.
