EXCLUSIVE: ‘The Brass Teapot’ TV Spot with Juno Temple

A magical teapot brings money and pain into the lives of a young broke couple, available on VOD today.

Magnolia Pictures has provided us with an exclusive TV spot for The Brass Teapot, which debuts on iTunes and other VOD formats starting today, February 28, ahead of its April 5 theatrical debut. Juno Temple and Michael Angarano star as Alice and John, a young married couple who are dead broke and struggling to keep their heads above water. When Alice buys a strange, magical teapot at an antiques store, their lives will change in ways they never quite expected. We also have a new featurette that includes interviews with Michael Angarano and director Ramaa Mosley as they go in-depth into the story behind this strange comedic fantasy.

John and Alice live in small town America - 20s, married, very much in love, and broke. Once voted "most likely to succeed," Alice struggles to make ends meet while her friends enjoy the good life. Her husband John, neurotic and riddled with phobias, just wants to get the bills paid. But an accident leads them to a roadside antique shop where Alice is spontaneously drawn to a mysterious brass teapot. It isn't long before they realize that this is no ordinary teapot and that perhaps they have found the answer to all of their financial woes...The Brass Teapot is a magical dark comedy that reminds us to be careful what we wish for.

The Brass Teapot was released April 5th, 2013 and stars Juno Temple, Michael Angarano, Alexis Bledel, Billy Magnussen, Alia Shawkat, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Park, Ben Rappaport. The film is directed by Ramaa Mosley.
