Disney animation has a surefire hit with Frozen this Thanksgiving. Based on the classic fairy tale, The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen, Frozen has been updated with a modern sensibility and the values of sisterhood. Kristen Bell stars as Anna, the younger sister to Elsa (Idina Menzel), a princess with the power to freeze anything she touches. Inseparable as children, Elsa accidentally hurt Anna with her powers. Her parents lock her away and with a troll wizard's help, erase Anna's memory of the event. When Elsa becomes the Queen, she is unable to contain her powers. Afraid she will hurt people, Elsa flees into the dark forest, unknowingly casting a spell that freezes the entire kingdom. Anna must save the kingdom and find a way to reconcile with her sister. Josh Gad costars as Olaf, a lovable magical snowman that Elsa creates. Frozen is a wondrous musical tale that leaves you enchanted with a little feminist spirit.
