Synopsis:
Corporate executive Meredith Morton (Parker) is as buttoned-down and sharp-edged as her designer suit and three-inch stilettos. Her boyfriend Everett Stone's (Mulroney) family is as relaxed and ramshackle as their aging New England Colonial. So when high-strung Meredith ventures out of Manhattan to meet Everett's unconventional clan, it's no wonder her arrival is met with all the enthusiasm of a nasty Nor'easter.

But one surprise guest, two shocking romances and several beers later, Meredith's icy exterior begins to thaw...and she may just melt the hearts of the Family Stone!

Garnering a Golden Globe® nomination for her hilarious performance as an uptight girlfriend visiting her boyfriend's super-liberal family, Emmy Award®-winner Sarah Jessica Parker* ("Sex and the City") leads an all-star ensemble cast in The Family Stone, the deliriously funny comedy that "balances heart and humor" (Houston Chronicle) with a "sharp comic edge" (Rolling Stone), arriving May 2 on DVD from Fox Home Entertainment.

Featuring stellar performances from Academy Award®-winner Diane Keaton* (Father of the Bride, Something's Gotta Give), Luke Wilson (The Royal Tenenbaums, Old School), Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Wedding Crashers), Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding), Craig T. Nelson ("Coach") and Claire Danes (Romeo + Juliet, Shopgirl), The Family Stone delivers honest-to-goodness laughs, telling the universal tale that every woman can relate to and dread - meeting the boyfriend's family for the first time.
