I don't know if Michael Bay realizes this or not, but this movie is not a remake. It's a retelling of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre events, not the movie. In fact, all the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films are retellings of the events that took place in Texas and nothing to do with the previous films. That's what makes this franchise so particular, but there is one sequel and a prequel to this franchise, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, with the Legendary Choptop character, and the prequel to the 2003 version, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. The rest of them are just standalone films in the same franchise, which is why I love this series.

But that all changed, when i rented this sh*t. To tell you the truth, i wasn't really expecting much, because, frankly, to me, Jessica Biel is an horrible actress, and not even all that cute. However, there was no way in the world I thought this movie would be as bad as i did.

Okay, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a horror movie, true, but it's not supposed to be a, "boo-Scary", type of horror movie. It's more like a satirical type of horror franchise, like the Scream films. It made you to laugh but in a good way. I mean that's what the "Saw" is all about, and this film dropped that, entirely. Yeah, they had the very weird family element, but it was still too seriously taken for me. The only type of humor I saw in this was Sheriff Hoyt, played by R. Lee Ermey. I don't know what the f*ck they did with Leatherface's character. It looked like they were trying to make him seem like Jason, instead, carrying a chainsaw rather than a machete. Leatherface is just supposed to be a f*ckin retard who hacks people up while making noises, like a banshee. I didn't like what they did too him.

By the way, where the hell was Grandpa?! I never returned a rental so fast in my entire life, and i've not seen the prequel to this and don't plan on it either. I guess i'll just have 1,2, and 3 in my collection, because i didn't like that one with that f*cking Renee Zellbitch or Matthew Mchauni..f*ck it i can't spell that sh*t. Thee End.
