Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog DVD: Review By The_Fallen_One

This one for me was just a total shot in the dark.I picked it up at HMV because I saw my man NPH (the PH is for poon handler....haha kills me every time)on the cover along with Nathan Fillion who I think is a very funny actor.And from the very first song I was in love.The story centers around a character named Billy who wants to be a supervillain and join the Evil League Of Evil but just cant catch a break.Constantly struggling with his superhero nemesis captain hammer and his inability to speak to Penny the girl from the laundromat.The characters are all spot-on and they're singing chops even more so.The songs are infectious and wonderful and I'm sure after your first watch you will pepper your i-pod with its awesomeness.I know I did.So now after unwillingly introducing the gal of his dreams to his arch nemesis and recieving a letter from the Evil League Of Evil saying to join he's got to kill someone....I'm sure you can guess who,and the hunt is on!I won't say much else because the story actually takes us on a bit of a journey that is quite unexpected.So from it's wonderful performances and catchy songs and short run time there is no reason not to give this wonderfully original musical a shot.
