The Movie Friday The 13th has finnaly coming out on dvd and i am happy to see i urge you to go out and Buy this bad boy now, Now this movie is your typical horror movie....Sex, Drugs Poping out of nowhere and then killing people with that Machete of his Good Times. I am not new to the jason seris i loved his movies i could say the lease for Freddy Vs. Jason but that was ok but nothing special. The movie starts with a bunch of campers hiking up to crystal lake in search of weed. Well while up they there is the eariler version of Jason the bag-headed and he well -(spolier alert) kills pretty much everybody in the start. So it has been about over a month and one of the girl's who was in the start's brother is now on the search for his missing sister!!. I Think the rebirth of Jason was awesome because at times he was a hunter and other times he was an Ake killer. This movie is so predictable but i did'ent care i pretty much liked every second of this movie except for the ending-This where i knocked a star the ending Sucked just a little because throughout the whole movie you would think there would be this great amazing ending News Flash! There is not!! I was mad with the ending but the whole movie made up for it. Well grap your date or wife or maybe even grap you 17 year old son/daughter if you have one!. watch this movie now that it is out on dvd. B+

Having never watched any of the Friday The 13th series, I thought I would give this a go. I then fully understood why I had avoided the series so far. Though I may be doing the originals a disservice I am not in any rush to find out.

That last statement: "Grab (grap) a 17 year old kid and watch this movie now..."

    Yeah... A little weird...

this sounds like it makes the same failures as all horror flicks do today: 1)aimed at 14yr old boys, 2) faceless victims whom you don't feel sympathy for when they get axed, 3) unrealistically high body count given the film's runtime, and 4) no suspense/build up to the majority of said killings. All unlike "Halloween" which did all of those 4 points right in 1978.

This'll either be online quickly, or TV quickly, but either way, I'm not holding out with baited breath for this one.
