Shakira is just another woman on the lookout for love. As she navigates her way through a new relationship, she must realize what price she is willing to pay for the ultimate romantic connection, and how long she is willing to wait.

Shakira (Jaylani Roberts) is a romantic dreamer with unrealistic expectations about the perfection of love. Always hopeful, she embarks on a promising new relationship but soon discovers that infatuation is fleeting, fate is fickle and only through patience and understanding is true love achieved. David Lee Thomason co-stars in director Quincy Reyes's award-winning tale of modern romance and one woman's life lesson.
