While searching for a title I can sit down with my wife and enjoy without turning her off from viewing one of the thousand (exageration)horror movies to be rented at your local video store, I came across this since I knew she liked Matthew McConaughey movies and yes Jennifer Garner is easy on the eyes too.

Connor Mead (McConaughey)is a fashion photographer, womanizing playboy who learned all the wrong moves when it comes to love from his non-idealistic Uncle Wayne (Jacob Marley of the film played by Michale Douglas)when he was young and now his younger brother is about to be married at his parents chateau.

Once he returns home, he runs into his childhood crush, Jenny Perotti (Jennifer Garner)who knows all to well that his brother's marriage is doomed.

What ensues is he is runs into his dead uncle whom tells him he will be visited by 3 ghosts. What ultimately is revealed is he still loves Jenny and wants a second chance at love himself.

The acting is good, not academy award material though. Emma Stone's character, Allison Vandermeersh, Connor's first real girlfriend when he was a teen and first sexual encounter, is the Ghost of Girlfrinds Past. her portrayal is one of the brighter, funnier parts of the movie, excluding her stupid bed she drives around in with Connor.

I believe and correct me if I'm wrong, but the same actress, Christa Aleen, that portrayed Jennifer Garner in "13 going on 30" when she was a teen, does the same in this movie too.

Overall, this is a rentable movie if you want to get away from the killing and maimming of humans.
