Come spend a day in the life of six or so pretty depressed human beeings all somewhat related to the escort universe and whose life will intertwine with each other during that day while everyone kinda seearching for inner happinness

Ron's pretty depressed and is trying lots of stuff to be happy and get by . He owns a small escort agency and today he is planning a move that should put him in the big leagues . But it office got broken into and is book with all is girls photos got stolen . He suspects right on the spot his main rival and he owner of the biggest escort agency in Montreal CHEECH but also slitly suspects all of his employees even is best Escort Jenny who lives a double life and is searchiong really hard for iner happiness . Olivier is also riding a depression and decides to called Rons agency after his Neighbor Alexis ( whos also a pathologic lyer and and quite far in his depression ) gave it high praise praised , Rons sends in Stephanie whos quite suicidal , but what Ron doesnt know is that his new right hand man Max is secretly in love with Steph and will do anything to help her .

Cheech is one these offbeat dark dramady films , Kinda hard to sell to some people like Requiem for a dream was for some ( am not saying there exactly in the smae line , but a bit Requiem took a look at the effects of Addiction tru more then one life and this one takes look at depression kinda in the same way) , that is really nicely acted , directed and shot ( some really beautifful shots in this to a dead Ron in the snow in beginning credits , to the beauty of Montreals china town in the winter and a lot more) Nicely paste and cut too and great score . It's kinda also fells in the offbeat hollyday films section , since this day is during the hollydays , you even get a really nicely dark and slow adaptation of jingle bells done in chinese nicley sing by a chinese singer . You rarely solve deression and personnal problems in one day and sometimes when you trie to hard you just create some more problems but this day will give some revelations in some ways or others , ill just leave it at it doesnt really and well (depending on how you look at it ). This film is full of talented well known french canadian actors , if your looking to get inot french canadians films this is quite a good one , And in my opinion any Canadian (or any NHL hockey fan for that mather) should see The Rocket ( wich Patrice Robitaille (Ron) is in too) and Bon cop Bad cop
