THE GOOD
The style, the slow-motion, though I missed out on an extravagant 3D spectacle, its still a lushly photographed beauty, that is ferocious, daunting, and is Milla's franchise, her Ripley, and Paul WISE ARSE Anderson has done a subsidiary great job, helming a rip roaring ride. The visuals, the panache, schemed lovingly to attach to the third dimension is honourable, and its great addition to a easy franchise- the myths and evolution just tampered with and warningly crafted is something to enjoy- and just a great science fiction action adventure non-horror movie. The jumps are gone, all creatures and aura diminished, the aura and aesthetic of the game not fully realized, but it's the lore and world of Umbrella, not specifically the games link and character logs but name a few. But Alice fittingly gels to the lore and mythology and the games kinetic limited story arcs.
The introduction is just massive, and the time in which these films are made gets me thinking, as un-resourcefully constructive and lucratively anal people are to films alike this- franchises- dumb brash escapades- I longed for an Oscar nom- on the visual effects side- stylistically unreal but photorealistic none the less. And this may just seem drab, but Anderson is a supreme master of blockbusting- his feature film absolved a low-low budget, but packs a punch as ferocious as say AVP- which was good!
Paul Anderson is the man for spectacle, and some nuance, and of course this is his brain child- alas this hasn't seen the fait of likewise another action-romp of Death Race 94 stars- it was osmething0 and the straight to DVD release, that garnered it the gross it would have seen slimmer if on screen. His geekiness and drablow enthusiasm drives his films- TTM- being a sole film that just let me down- I do look back and say yes I was unfair, to point facto express the conscious of what he is and what he does but I expected high and mighty for TTM- in 3D (what with this films' only critical value- "THE AMAZING 3DF" TTM was at a loss for me, slender trimmings and just darkened the screen.) THE THREE MUSKATEERS- catch up!

THE BAD
What brings this on- well the spectacle that is RESIDENT EVIL 5- the finale- and have you seen the teaser trailer- I have- I am gunning to book a ticket- though these film don't get that luxury pre-months before release. And it slows for minimal character growth- which this film doesn't see too well- but so freaking' what its a F*cking Paul W.S Anderson movie, and it f*cking rocks. Pardon my absurd cursing that i hope heightens my pure love for this film.
THE FEATURE
Story- Alice is back and has lost her telekinetic powers, and is still on the move to bring down Umbrella, while creatures of deformed varieties attack, kill and massacre and in thousandths get massacred by her supreme gun point.
THE EXTRAS
Commentary- supreme Anderson love. He is possibly the most interesting-ingly enthused and passionate and softly spoken and engrossingly listenable director ever in commentary history.
Featurettes: (2 on DVD 8 on Blu-Ray)- just fully blown out of proportion, the most nostalgic thing ever in Resident Evil terms, but I love it- A GUILTY PLEASURE*
