"Lady In The Water," the story about a hotel man trying to help a lady go back to her home who he found in his swimming pool, was the WORST movie Night has ever created...and even worse than "The Happening" I think! This movie has gotten mixed reviews (I think they should have been only negative!) and it was NOT a box office success back in 2006. This movie was nominated for four Razzie Awards and it won two. Good! Perfect Razzie Award-nominations and wins to a horrible movie like this!

STORY: This movie has a stupid storyline! A lady needing help to go back to an imaginary world that's based on a bedtime story in someone's swimming pool? Yes! That's ridiculous! Also, the things that happen later in this movie have NO point to the story! Far out! (0.5 Star)

ACTING: The acting was mediocre. Paul Giamatti was okay playing the main character, but I didn't like it when he stumbles in some scenes since he's having trouble speaking perfectly. I loved Bryce Dallas Howard's role as the poor and lonely girl who wants to get back to her "blue world" deep in the swimming pool's drain. Night himself plays a minor character in this, and I thought he was terrible! He should stick to directing only. There's also a whole LOT of other actors in this movie I do not know, but some performances were boring, stupid, and yet crazy! The only performance I liked in this movie was Bryce Dallas Howard and that's it! (2 Stars)

DIRECTING: M. Night Shyamalan's directing to the film was bad! What the hell has happened to him now? His earlier movies were better than his new movies! This movie is a bedtime story instead of a suspense thriller! Night was more focused on his children than he was on his twisting endings when he was making this movie! I don't know what else to say about the directing, but Night needs to direct a better movie than this! (1 Star)

VISUALS: The visuals were not that good. They were okay but nothing special. The motion picture of this movie, since it's from Warner Bros., seemed the perfect picture for a bedtime story like this, but the graphics on the blue world symbols and the grass creature looked good CGI but they were a little stupid. (2 Stars)

OVERALL: A terrible bedtime story instead of suspense thriller from Night! This movie must NOT be seen! The story was stupid, the acting was mediocre, and the movie was just plain wierd and boring! Let's not to mention, I almost fell asleep during the middle of this, but whenever it showed Bryce Dallas Howard in some scenes, I stayed awake and felt better, but other than that, this movie is still terrible! Do NOT see this movie!

P.S. If only the new MovieWeb would let me give this movie a 0 instead of a 0.5! Oh well, that's the way it goes!
