THE GOOD
"The way to a criminal is through his mind" and the way to a dedicated "mystery-crime-thriller" fan is with a television series like Criminal Minds.
THE BAD
Out of anything, I'd have to pick the 'criminals'--they're all pretty bad.
THE FEATURE
Criminal Minds revolves around a team of seven FBI profilers, each with their own area of specialization, who work in the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI. The mission of the BAU is to provide behavioral-based investigative and operational support by applying case experience, research, and training to complex and time-sensitive crimes. The specialists take you deep into the minds of criminals, hence the title. It's a fascinating profession and an equally fascinating show. It's Perry Mason meets CSI.
THE EXTRAS

Inside Quantico & The Criminal Mind

A mini-doc*mentary about the real-life BAU division of the FBI, including what they do, job training, and all the ins and outs of the FBI. It's really interesting to get such a close look at something that is otherwise very low-profile.

THE FINAL WORD
Break out the Beer Battered Fried Brie and Clams Casino along with a nicely chilled bottle of Riesling "Naked" Snoqualmie, Columbia Valley, OR. 2004, pop in the DVD and enjoy. Criminal Minds uses some interesting filming techniques and they are aptly explained in the Special Features. In fact, have a second bottle of "Naked" chilled ready to go and watch the entire Special Features segment in one sitting--it's very entertaining.
