im honestly suprised of how much i actually liked this movie. and this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of hip-hop. be that as it may, a friend told me i had to see this biography of one of the greatest rappers of all time.

first thing i thought was so cool was how the artists actual son from wife, singer faith evans was in it playing the young biggie smalls. i also loved how accurate it was because it was made by everyone who knew him.

i loved all the re-inactments of his performances. i loved seeing how diddy and lil kim got there start. i loved seeing the actual locations where events happened.i loved how they showed all sides of big, and not just some rough thug. i think the only thing i didn't like was the person playing big. i mean he wasn't bad, and i don't quite understand why, maybe i feel like it's almost some cheap impersonator.

i liked seeing the bond he had with his mother. i also loved how involved his acual mother was in making this movie. i love biographies like these where everyone who knew him and loved him come together and make it as real as possible.

well i am officialy a fan of the genre now so im gonna go bust a move with my homies. great movie. special features were great too. if you knew nothing about big, you'll learn everything with this dvd.
