I loved this film. Sheen and Lagella frakkin nailed this pony and nailed it hard!

A great script and dialogue. Trim pace and thorough attention to detail with some nice cast. Oliver Plat, consummate as always, same with Sam Rockwell. This film felt a little sympathetic to Nixon but I overlooked it as the acting and period was captured so well.

Its a trim movie that covers all the aspects of the Nixon and Frost Interviews quickly and to the point.

Michael Sheen played Frost very well and actually made him appear to be a fairly decent guy who could take criticism on the chin. Langella's Nixon is very well portrayed and well deserving of the Oscar nomination. I would very heartily recommend this film to anyone who likes good film making, fine acting and doc*movies.

4-5 is reserved for cinematic perfection... which, as good as the acting was, this film wasn't.

I enjoyed this a lot as well, but why did you only give it 3.5?

I gave it a 4. The sympathetic aspect was called for in this story though, seeing as it wasn't as much of a big deal for Nixon to hire the burglars as it was when he fired 2 W.H.O.s and garnered 2 resignations from two more W.H.O.s in a deliberate attempt to oust a prosecutor from his career for doing his job (Archibald Cox). Why THAT aspect is ALWAYS overlooked in this controversy is beyond me. Nice review.
