THE GOOD
I usually laugh when Link is rejected by Zelda for a kiss, or before they ACTUALLY kiss, something interrupts them. I also enjoy the scene when Link is fighting the bulldog-like Moblins, involving a pillow fight and when the octopus-like Octorok and the armored Tinsuit both fought over a red Rupee. It's like over the last cookie!
THE BAD
However, I do find this TV series silly. I mean, they made Link immature and says, "Well, excuuuuuuse me, Princess!" when Zelda offends him. I didn't really like how they portray Zelda: when Link is dying try to save her, she gives him NO kiss! It's like in Super Mario 64; a kiss on the nose and a cake. But hey, at least this show is non-canon of the Zelda series.
THE FEATURE
The hero Link and Princess Zelda live in North Castle in Hyrule, guarding the Triforce of Wisdom. On the other side of Hyrule is Ganon's dungeon on Death Mountain which houses the Triforce of Power. Whoever joins these two Triforces together will rule Hyrule forever. It's up to brave but immature Link and smart but bitchy Zelda to stop Ganon.
THE EXTRAS
In some of the DVD's, they had some games such as guess the missing card, guess the trivia and some drawings. They also had some live-action scenes of the cheesy Super Mario Bros Super Show, showing Mario and Luigi as regular plumbers living in a flat.
THE VIDEO
In these episodes, it shows some plots that are half-interesting and half-stupid. Episodes like Spring Cleaning Day, being turned into a frog, rescuing the king and a unicorn, rescuing the sinking castle, fighting an evil doppelganger, getting the sword back from Ganon, and even stop Ganon's henchmen from taking over the castle.
THE AUDIO
The creators made the audio quite old-school and a little epic. I liked the sound-effects for Link's sword beams made for zapping monsters. I liked the action-packed music when Link defeats a Gillman-like Zola and also Ganon himself. It also puts you in the mood for sword-fighting.
THE PACKAGE
The front-cover shows a nice hand-drawn picture of Link looking at his sword of power. I also laughed when I saw it as it looked like Link's trying to take a dump.
THE FINAL WORD
I found this half-adventuring and half-cheesy. However, I did like Link's appearance in Captain N: The Game Master. In some of the episodes, he's mature, got a different look and no longer needs a kiss from Zelda. He eventually does get a kiss from Zelda but on the cheek. This is going to be interesting(!)
