A slightly above average film which looks at the 1994 genocide in Rwanda through the life of Paul Rusesabagina. Don Chedle gives a masterful performance as Rusesabagina but the rest of the cast is only average. For me, the film focused more on Rusesabagina and his family than the actual genocide which was occurring around them and therefore lacked the power necessary to make the atrocities real. Maybe a bit to 'Hollywoodized'.....
