The Fictonal/war Biopic Inglorious Basterds is coming to dvd and since i missed it in theaters which at this point i kind of am. I Have had in interest ever since i saw the first teaser for thr film awhile back. I Have to say they did throw most of the good stuff in the trailer there was killing but not what i was expected. i wanted more thats what i was craving this whole entire movie and i wanted to see more Aldo Rain portred perfectly by Brad Pitt i wish we could have gotten to know that person a little bit more considering the fact he was funny as hell.

Eli Roth was good as Donnie or as the Jews call him "the bear jew" because he uses his baseball bat and smashes the brains out of Nazis and that my friend is the only time we get to see him do that the movie takes a lighter turn. i guess The film starts of sort of weird we don't even see Brad Pitt until about 30 mins in and i was saying that whole time were is this guy gonna show up. and finally he did.

Aldo Rain (Pitt) has set up a group of soliders called the Basterds so the germans call them and there mission is to take 100 scalps of 100 dead Germans all 10 of the soliders. For the parts where there was killling and shooting with machine guns reminded of Call Of Duty except the whole time in that game you were killing people not watching people talk in subtitles for 3hrs... anyway 55% of this movie was in Subtitles and see i did not like that cuz i dont like reading a lot.

Some parts were just boring the only parts i enjoyed was when Brad Pitt was on screen or when the killing was going on. Which was a total of about 45 mins out of a 153min movie. Which was dissapointing which is why i am giving the film what i am giving it. The reason why i am being so jolly and nice giving it a 3.5 was because the fight and killing parts we so well done it would be rude not to and Brad Pitt does a good job at that. But without that this film had nothing and Eli Roth dod contribute with his bashing of the Nazi.

C+

This movie was really great. It's actually the first Quentin Tarantino film I've seen, and it turned out to be excellent and I gave this 4.5 stars. But I didn't expect you to give this a 3.5, Forrest. Based on the positive reviews this movie had, I thought you'd like this movie like I did, but a 3.5 is okay since you thought the movie was all right with those fighting/killing scenes you liked. Nice review though.
