Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy HD DVD: Review By AlaskaLoneWolf

Set in the early era of women's liberation, Will Ferrell plays opposite of Christina Applegate in a satirical look at the illustrious life of a San Deigo news anchor "Ron Burgundy". In a star studded cast, with cameos from Ben Stiller to Vince Vaughn this histerical comedy had me laughing my ass off from start to finish. I especially loved the fight scene between members of all the various factions of syndicated television stations who duked it out in an over-the-top back-alley brawl that even Monty Python's Flying Circus would have a tough-time doing any better. There are so many one-liners and awesome twists in this movie that even the realitively low-budget looking effects can be forgiven. This is a must for anyone who collects quality comedy from a man who delivered a performance nothing short of genius.
