A riotously entertaining Heist/Gangster flick.

Set in the seedy belly of the London underworld, Snatch is a tale combining illegal boxing, gypsies, gangsters enforcers, a few dim thieves and a diamond the size of a satsuma.

The witty script and story echoes director Guy Ritchie's success with his previous feature, 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'.

A bit of a low budget, sleeper hit, many of the actors; Jason Statham, Vinnie Jones, Jason Flemyng and Alan Ford return for this movie along with a few big name Hollywood stars. Notably Brad Pitt, Dennis Farina and Benicio Del Toro.

Apparently Brad Pitt was so eager to appear in Ritchie's next project, he dropped his fee accordingly to suit the more modest budget of most british films.

While he has the WORST Irish/Welsh accent ever, it's easily overlooked as he takes on the role of 'Mickey, The King Of The Gypsies' with such infectious enthusiasm.

In fact you'll be so wrapped up in the myriad of hilarious, calamitous, plot twists, what you'll really notice is how skilfully they're all tied up at the end.

Good review. I did not like this film as much as you did, but the cast is great and I recommend it too.
