I try to not give too many movies 5 stars, but this one deserves it!

There are great horror movies out there, like Halloween. But most lack ONE THING- originality. Sure they add a twist to the story, like killing on Hallowen night, in stead of a random day.Don't get me wrong, I love all of the Halloween films. Trapped Ashes is definatly ofiginal and fresh.

This movie is 5 short stories. 4 groups of people are locked in a creepy house, and are forced to tell THEIR story. The 5th story is the house itself! It sort of reminded me of Creepshow.

All stories deliver scares on a high level. Trapped Ashes is a terrifying, horror thrill ride. Although I think they had an overdose of sex and nudity. But in the first story, it's kinda needed, but not the others. So pervs will like this for that reason, but if you are like me, you will like it for the scares.

I really mean it when I say- one of the most original, and entertaining of horror flicks to come around in quite some time.

    lol. you'd like the movie then. it has boobs that need to feed. so when she removes her shirt, the evil boobs feed on the guy's flesh. youd like it

    XJW-I got my copy at Wal-mart. They have aa bunch of them for 14.95. Yeah I guess you are right Crypt. I Love movies that have short stories. Have you ever seen The Willies? LOVE that one!!

    Hmm... well ya. the first story kinda needes th nudity, but all the others didnt need all the sex, and nudity. the first story needed it, in order to explain the story though. and I actully just bought this a few days ago.

    I notice that you mention about uneeded nudity in your posts, which I agree with, but this movie has a breast that sucks blood. I thought it was ok, but have seen more fun "tales" movies
