Into the Wild DVD: Review By ecs25858

The kid has good intentions with bad results! A kid who has had it with the materialistic world decides to leave it all behind, and figures out that happiness is not real unless it is shared. Emile Hirsch did an excellent job, should have received an Academy Award. Vince Vaughn didn't stick out as being too impressive. Hal Holbrook a very good actor who makes you feel his pain. I remember first hearing about this on 20/20 news story. Back then I couldn't believe it, and I still can't believe it!!! A movie worth watching as a self-discovery of how we fit in this world!
