Thunderball

The fourth film for Sean Connery was also one of his best. The story follows Bond as he searches for stolen nuclear bombs. The bombs were stolen by none other than SPECTRE, who threatens to blow up a major city in the world. While in the Bahamas, Bond comes face to face with one of the franchise's greatest villains, Emilio Largo.

The film starts with a very intense and fast paced fight sequence and stays that way until the end. Bond searching for stolen nuclear bombs is not only more realistic its also just plain fun to watch. Especially in the Bahamas. A-

The Spy Who Loved Me

The third film for Roger Moore, way back when in 1977, showcases some of the best Villains, Settings, and Stories to date in a bond film. Bond is once again searching for nuclear bombs. Stolen by Stromberg, and underwater scientist who also happens to live underwater. His diabolical plan is to basically blow up the world and create an underwater species of humans.

Now as far fetched as the story may be, rest assured its one of the most fun and adventure filled Bond films to date. Barbara Bach playing a Russian Secret Agent was a role tailor made just for her. And plus who doesn't love Jaws. B+

A View To A Kill

Roger Moore's seventh and final film, thank God, is probably his worst. The whole idea of a 60+ years old secret agent fighting off bad guys and sleeping with beautiful young women never really clicked with me. Plus San Fransisco isn't much of a back drop for a bond flick.

Granted the whole reason why he left was because of the younger women, it still isn't a pleasant thought. Well at least the movie gave us some thing positive. A great song by Duran Duran, and one of the greatest Bond villains, Christopher Walken. Sadly the movie just doesn't even come close to being as good as either of those two. D+

Licence to Kill

Licence to Kill, the obviously misspelled title of an 80's Bond flick is actually not all that bad. People love to talk about how much this one sucks, but frankly I kinda liked it. The story isn't bad and Timothy Dalton is, quite frankly, one of the better Bonds to date. He also just so happens to be the most forgettable. The story follows our favorite Secret Agent and he hunts down and avenges the almost death (he ONLY lost his legs) of dear friend Felix Leiter.

Now the movies itself isn't bad, but if I had to choose something it would probably be the supporting cast. Dalton and Hedison(Leiter) do an excellent job. But everyone else, not so much. It also has two of the most forgettable Bond girls in history and the Wayne Newton cameo I could've done without. C+

Die Another Day

2002's Die Another Day is absolutely positively the worst Bond movie ever made. Halle Berry was truly the only good part about it. Pierce Brosnan, although a good Bond, had to face a terrible script and story. Which now speaking of the story could've been allot better. I mean the whole thing with DIAMOND dealing for weapons, a space satellite weapon that looks like a DIAMOND, even the dude with DIAMONDS in his face is ridiculous.

The entire cast, I thought, did a terrible job. Judi Dench, always a great actress, probably did one of the worst performances of her career. And plus need I mention... the invisible car. F

New extras are pulled from the vaults that have never been on DVD before, Sly. That's why they pulled those Special Edition Box Sets. The Ultimate Editions are each Two-Discs whereas those Special Editions were only one discs, and not to mention the new ones feature frame-by-frame digital restoration by Lowry Digital and a remixed DTS sound. Plus there are 5 films in each set (4 sets) as compared to the 7, 7, 6 format of the former sets.

I think I'll review my sets soon, sly, that way you can see what is all packaged within when I do the special features part of the review which this guy totally skimped out on.

So what makes this edition different than the ones released 7 & 8 years ago (3 sets total) which contained the 20 movies? Each of those had making of doc*mentaries and another doc*mentary on something or someone important to the 007 film legacy, thus making for 40 total doc*mentaries. And some even had music videos. So what are the new extra features?

OK this is a terrible review, as I'm sure your other Bond Ultimate Set Reviews are, so I won't even bother. The main thing here is you don't give any reasons to back up your opinions. Why was "Die Another Day"'s storyline, characters, and acting ridiculous? You say it's horrible but don't explain why. Next time explain why.

The good thing about this review is its got good length. Just back up your statements and tell us more than just the plot of the movies and you'll be a good reviewer.
