Takashi Miiki's Dead Or Alive trilogy is probably one of the coolest action trilogy's ever to come out of Japan. The movie's are a hard core blend of John Woo and Robert Rodriguez action they are very violent and very over the top. I wouldn't recommend if you can't stand violent action movies.
