I only bought this movie because it had Katie Featherson, of the Paranormal Activity series. Not only was she in about two scenes, but Psychic Experiment was total trash. It made no sense, and had horrible storytelling. You did not know what the heck was going on.

There is some character development, and then some weird burning thing going around and killing people. Hence the title, you find out it is an expirament by the government. But the events that take place thanks to this expirament are completley illogical, and stupid. You are more laughing at the screen, or scratching your head at the stupidity that just occured. The effects they use are horrible, and since they're horrible, they edited the deaths to be quick so you did not see their sh*tty special effects as much. This really shows, and makes the effecs seem even more obvious.

It was cool to see Reggie Banister of the Phantasm films! I actually liked his character. He was the only one I really ven paid attention to, but in the end a single actor I like cannot save a film that is damned by a horrible script such as this. The rest of the cast I actually did not have a problem with. The acting is not perfect or by any means magnificant, but it is decent.

The editing was my main concern. Like I said, the deaths are quick, and poorly clipped together. On top of that, the transitioning was horrible. A lot of the time, a scene would abruptly or awkwardly end, and not really feel as though the scene was over. It's like the director did not get enough footage to be edited. There are no fade outs. The fade lasts for a split second, and goes so fast you cannot really process the previous scene, and BAM another scene has already started!

Bah, I am done with this movie. I realize this review is not my best, longest or most descriptive. But I feel the word needs to go around about this stinker, and hey, maybe I'll save someone's money and time by writing this little tidbit.

As for the DVD itself, the picture quality is horrible. Could have been a bad camera they used. The extras are actually somewhat interesting though. After seeing the movie, it was really interesting to see the people behind it. They seemed so pleased with it, and thinking it's be good. I did laugh a little bit, I must say.
