We are coming up on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday which was the last 12 hours of Jesus's life in human form. This was Mel Gibson's directorial debut and if you haven't seen this picture I recommend you do.This picture is subtitled in English to keep with the autheticity of the time period and the languages that were spoken almost 2000 years ago.

This film delivers the emotion, tragedy and sacrifice he must have endured during his arrest, torcher, ridicule, and eventually unjust crucifiction. Mel adds his own flavor during Jesus's flogging we see the devil in man form carrying a deformed baby representing the anti-christ which was done well. The graphic/ dramatic ending to this picture is the crucifiction of Jesus. Warning:This picture will make you weep for him and his sacrifice to us for our sins the sins of our children and the sins of their children to come.

Interesting Quote you have there not sure what you mean by "all are guilty",we are guilty of what? Guilty of the sins before his crucifiction or condemming him to be crucified?

As for the movie itself, personally I thought Mel's direction was incredible, to have a majority of the world crying because of some of the scenes in this movie has to say something, dont you think?

    Overall I enjoyed your review.

Actually Mel Gibson directed "Braveheart" in '95, so this aint his directorial debut.

I thought this film gave no insight to the powers of Jesus, and was just a gore fest without the horror banner draped over it in a stupid title, as this title was actually decent, but the film lacks overall.
