Heroes: Season 2 DVD: Review By SCREENWRITER

Although Season 2 focuses on the action more than its plot, that is only a tad bit intersting, Season 2 still delivers the great character development that makes the show a winner!

Season 2 is an action-packed epic! With only 11 episodes in Season Two [Over 13 episodes shorter than Season 1], Season 2 is still a great ride from beginning to end. Even though I perfer the plot of season 1, Season 2 carries all the action that makes it suspensful and nail-biting. The season may be short...but its still great!

In this season, our characters return with new stories.

[SPOILERS]

Peter Petrelli, after exploding, wakes up not knowing who he is and is helped by an Irish women who he falls in love with...but the love never really lasts when their future becomes destroyed. Hiro, goes back to the time of his Hero and tries to make him the "Hero" he thought he was...only to learn in the present that he is a sworn enemy. Nathan, thinking that his brother is dead, struggles. Claire, at a new school, struggles with normal life but finds a friend she has much in commen with. Sylar, believed to be dead, without powers tries to rise back to the evil leader he was. Matt Parkman and Mohinder try to keep Molly, the little girl, safe. While Niki tries to get Jessica out of her life forever. As for HRG...he's just caught in the middle of it all as The Company is at the brick of getting ready to be brought down.

Season Two is action-packed...and focuses on that a lot more than the season's plot...which I didn't even mention by the way.

I do recommend Season two. It is a short, adventurous season. Its not as great at story-telling as Season 1 was...but its still a wonderful show to keep up with!
