It didn't make any sense. Nobody would just decide to hunt a vampire unless there was a very good reason & there wasn't one. Not for revenge or a sense of responsibility, just because. That wasn't the only problem. When it switched to vampire hunting, the movie lost all of its focus & coherence. We were subjected to strange flashbacks & a city hall that seemed out of place compared to the town we were watching & talking vampires even the though the main one doesn't talk. For some strange reason they dubbed the old man's voice with some younger guy's voice who was a terrible actor.
The ending was just horrendous.
