SEAL Team DVD: Review By MOVIEGUY11

As a guy who spend 12 years in the US Navy, it's good to see Hollywood make a movie to honor and give credit to our service men and women. SEAL Team VI is not cinematic brilliance, but the story is powerful. The acting is overall pretty good and the locations are just awesome. The carrier is definitely the USS Midway. This last time I saw it, she was pulling out of Hawaii.

This is definitely a low budget film, but it feels bigger if you know what I mean. The story is very heroic story of the elite SEAL Team VI (they're DEVGRU NOW) and I was expecting just an all out shoot up action film, but it was much more than that. Action military junkies will get their fix in some pretty good action scenes, but it also gives a look inside the family lives of these warriors...something that I don't think has been done before or that I can remember. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes action movies esp dealing with the US special forces. The sacrifice these guys go through and the honor they possess is just awesome. GO NAVY SEAL's.
