Battlestar Galactica: The Miniseries DVD: Review By Silk

Great stuff. People who didn't like this just were not looking at it the right way. Ed Almos was a great choice to play Adama, actually I liked all the actors, Mary McDonnell in particular. I really like the guy who played Rollo, the lawyer he was in an ep of Firefly or two as well.

I thought it went on a little long though. They could have cleaned it up in three seasons if they had pushed it a little more, then had a better body of work at its completion. But that's me. I like it between the eyes with no umming and aahing. If they'd sped up the story, they could have gotten in to the new series, Caprica, in a more timely fashion, without all this waiting around. I think TV producers are forgetting that as time moves forward, we're just getting a little harder to please and we want our fast food now, dagnammit!

Good almost clean fun. Have watched the series twice and loved it, and like all good series, I didn't like how it ended. Starbuck was definitely no angel!
