Well no. McCoy's eyes are supposed to be blue. He is older than the other two main characters. Kirk's are supposed to be green not brown. How can the original Pike be massively burned in the pilot so Spock has to take him to the planet of imagination, and yet in this movie he has full arm use and is in a standard wheelchair. Enterprise 1701 is way too glitzy. No one used atmospheric sky flying until after the Nexxus when it was Picard doing it with the real Kirk. Kirk would never have been that laissez faire about the Kobyashi Maru-eating an apple no less! Really.

The show Enterprise with Scott Bakula is even closer to the actual original and it's a prequel.
And having Spock handg all over Uhura.not gonna happen. She had eyes for the captain and Spock would have been too reserved.

Lady Amanda did not die until many years later thus Sarek was not free to have a consort. Amanda was kept in stasis for quite a time awaiting Spoks return.

It was at best a good try. But it was no StarTrek remake.
