Wow, so I had not viewed a movie of this quality for quite some time now. One of those movies that has the whole home video look to it, and the zero dollar budget. Honestly, I had missed those types of movies and despite my low rating, the movie did have a few attempts at being a good movie. Even though those attempts were horrible... At least the movie tried, right?

I'm a little fuzzy on the story. I had to watch this movie in two separate sittings. I hate doing that, but I started it way too late in the evening for me to finish the movie. Dumb on my part, but honestly I was okay with turning this movie off. It starts of very slow. It wasn't until I resumed the movie, I got semi-interested. It's about some people who go up to their friend's families' cabin. Things start out with too much character drama that I'm assuming should be character development. But instead we get a soap opera. Things get somewhat better when their friend goes missing. Here is when we get the filmmakers to start trying on their script skills here. When they attempt to go into the human psyche and show that even the best of people can turn on each other in an intense situation. Sadly, it comes off horribly cheesy, and you cannot take it very seriously, and end up laughing. Or sitting at the TV and wondering why the hell you're still watching. Either way, it's not a good experience.

On top of that, we have unknown actors. I was debating if I should even expand my review, since I think everything is pretty damn self explanatory, but I suppose I will. The actors are not good. Big surprise. They do not play their roles convincingly, and when the time comes to get serious, they are not. While every once in a while, you may get a decently spoken line, the rest of the horribly spoken lines cancel out the good ones. This isn't all on the actors however. Often their lines are awful. Thanks to the filmmakers behind the camera, this movie is even worse off than it would have been with the actors.

A lot of the time you're wondering why the heck the camera is showing what it is, with some horrible attempts at scenic shots, and transitioning. The POV shots with the KILLER CLOWN (not Clown Killer) wearing a mask are just horrible. You cannot see well, and the noises and the voice of the Killer Clown are just laughable, and far from menacing.

I must say that this movie is one of the worst I've seen in a while. The filmmakers should have spent more time on it, but the whole thing seems rushed and the attempt at a twist at the end is just more of confusing and will leave you scratching your head rather than drop your jaw.

No special features are present on the DVD unless you enjoy watching the original trailer. The picture quality as I said was junk. But I'm pretty damn sure that's the camera they used, whatever model that may be, and not the DVD itself. The sound and audio is awful too. Way to max out my TV on the screaming... Jeez.

I give replay value a whole star because since I had the unfortunate occurrence of purchasing this DVD, I will probably watch it again some day, a few years down the road, forgetting how bad it was, and then reinstate my hate for this movie that gets a half a star only for the attempts it makes.
