Fight Club DVD: Review By Brainiac

This movie is by far my all time favorite film. My only problem in writing this review is that i haven't fully watched the special features of the DVD.

From the beginning the WTF moments of this movie don't stop sucker punching you until you hear the all too suiting Pixies' "Where is My Mind" and get a random dick to the face at the end. Thats right, look close or you'll miss the lovely man forest that pops out at you just before the credits. Which is the exact style of this entire movie, the unexpected when you don't expect it. Whether it is the random single frames of Brad Pitt that litter the first 40 minutes (mirroring his character's job working in the projection booth at a theater) or the break neck transitions in which Edward Norton goes from office worker to between Meatloaf's t*ts and faking having multiple deceases to forming a Fight Club, this movie grabs your attention and doesn't let go.

It is amazing how director David Fincher lays such a plethora of clue within the framework of this feature so as to make it that every viewing reveals something new. This is a movie in which every time it is watched it literally gets better.
