Robocop DVD: Review By The Dark Knight

This movie is awesome. This is an action film that still stands up to to days action movie. This was a low budget Sci-fi Action movie that was set in the future. The people who made this had no idea this would be come a big hit and be so well known. The cast said in an interview that they were doing this movie just for fun. Some people think that RoboCop movies are dumb and stupid, but I love this one RoboCop 2 was alright. It had that cheesy far out villain that is unbelievable but still a good action flick. RoboCop 3 THAT was the worst! They didn't bring back Peter Weller as RoboCop and it was just terrible the plot the villains and they killed Nacy! I think I can remember there being two Asian robots trying to hunt down RoboCop and the under ground army. For some reason Its kind of reminding me of They live? They live was dumb ,but I like it. Its just a cool action flick by John Carpenter.

10/10 Peter Does one Hell of a job in this movie.

I can remember seeing this movie when I was little and I could not stop watching it I loved it so much. He plays a badass Robot cop looking for his murderers. Its his first day one the job in Delta City he just got transferred and he gets killed like that. But OCP has a contract with the police and they own them. They have this new program that they started and Murphy is the first one in this program it works perfectly.

Favorite line - "Come quietly or there will be... trouble."

Kurtwood Smith AS Clarence Boddicker

10/10 This is one of my favorite Vlillains in an action movie.

He is great in this movie. I love him in it. He isn't the top Villain in the movie but is right up there with Dick Jones. He works for Jones and follows orders. I like his role in Fortress as the Villain in that movie. He plays the Warden of a futuristic prison cause of over population. Thats a good movie with Christopher Lambert. He does a really good job playing a believable and somewhat realistic Bad guy.

Favorite line "H-hey, now wait a second. Now wait a minute... you're taking this kind of personally, aren't you? Come on now, man, you're making me nervous. Come on, you can't do this! Don't mess around! Hey! Hey! Hey, man, now don't get cute!"

Ronny Cox AS Dick Jones

10/10 He give the role a little kick.

He does such a great job in this movie as the Head Villain. He is the VP of OCP and is trying to get his ED 209 project working but Some thing goes wrong I mean WRONG It open fires on one of the executives and kills him. Bob Morton introduces his project of RoboCop and pisses Dick off. He does one hell of a job in this movie.

favorite line - "I had to kill Bob Morton because he made a mistake. Now it's time to erase that mistake."

-Plot-

Murphy just got transferred to Delta city or old Detroit and its his first day on the job and he gets killed by Clarence Boddicker and his men. OCP is able to use him as a cyborg cop that Bob Morton has got approval for the president of OCP Bob Morton pissed off Dick Jones in the process. Dick Jones has Clarence doing his dirty work for him. Murphy is not RoboCop they just let him loose now hes Fighting crime and it doesn't look like he arresting people but killing the bad guys. I think he only makes one arrest in this movie and thats Clarence Boddicker. But he doesn't just arrest him he F*cks him up. roboCop is having memories of the past and of Clarence Boddicker now hes out to get them and hes tracking them down and he goes after them. Clarence Boddicker has orders to kill Bob Morton from Dick Jones. It sucks to see him die I loved him in this. When RoboCop is interrogating or questioning Clarence he rats out Dick just for he can stay alive. RoboCop goes after Dick but he can't kill him cause he works for OCP ans has taken over Bob Morton's RoboCop program. He gets his Ed 209 to fight RoboCop and gives orders to the police to take down RoboCop some of the cops don't think its right cause hes a cop. Nancy Allen AS Officer Anne Lewis helps out RoboCop and now they are going to take down Clarence and his men. I don't want to give away the ending but "Dick, YOUR FIRED"

Its an old 1980s movie but if you play this one the right kind of DVD player I'm sure it will look great. Especially on a up convert player.

Sound

Its Fine nothing wrong with it perfect. Surround sound would be a good complement to it though!
