The story follows two parents John Crowley Aileen Crowley and they struggle to deal with that fact there children have a rare disorder called Pompe disease its a rare muscle disorder and the life expectancy for this disease is 7-9 years you really feel for this character you really do but when they also loose ther daughter when her heart stops .. they must find a cure to treat pompe or they children are gonna die.
Thats when John stumbles across Dr. Robert Stonehill a pretty much washed up scientist who has a theory that could cure pompe disease and save there children's lives. So together they are going to have work as hard as they possibly can to find a working Enzyme to cure there ill fated children. That also involves getting there ideas approved by the FDA.
This movie mainly lives on with the Consistent leads that are very well in this film. i really feel for most of the characters in this movie you are rooting and cheering that the two find a cure to save many kids lives!. This Grips you in a way movie has in along time for me. I Dont understand how you can go into this film and come out not touched or not liking it. Brendan Frasier gives the performance of his live in this film which i haven't seen in along time which i wish more people could see it.. and Harrison Ford gives riveting performance also. Great movie Great cast and it is a tear-jerker .. its home run out of the ball park and very inspirational
A+
