Hey Guys I know this review isn't posted on the actually review bit it is meant to be posted on, but on the review it is written on, (ummm does that make sense) anyway people this is my review of Sandy Collaras HUNTER PREY.
The man who brought us the best adaptation of The Dark Knight, Aka. Batman, or Batman Aka The Dark Knight the comic/cinema, or you tubing audience has ever seen.
On a low low, low low budget he brought us BATMAN, THE JOKER, Alien, and AND PREDATORS together on minimal 1.000 thousand dollars.
Here he puts his foot in the mouths of Hollywood producers, as he dimwittedly enough has not been chosen, or had his career lifted that much following the most uploaded video ever, as he sets out to make the lowest but most effective and enjoyable film on this earth.
So anyway here's the story, a ship crash lands on a planet with three survivors, and the runaway prisoner is the last of his kind (ORANGE JERICHO, A human), and the hunted turns the hunter basically. He is wanted for an act of crime he will commit, this film is beautifully captured and shot. Filmed digitally, and the actual location is captured, every particle, to every nook and cranny is visualized on screen, and used, and heightened to highlight the immensity of the situation, this full scale world with no end.
The visuals aren't that standard in quality, but what does it matter when a film like this, that is made with gusto, passion, sass, and a nerd way.
The characters of the soldiers are an Alien Race that look like they come from the loins of Voldamort, anyway, with the makeup design and on the budget, it is truly remarkable.
IN the quality of the facial movements and expressions and they way it stays in tone in texture.
Also even though the visuals are shoddy, it is over powered by story, and even though many may count it as a rather boring, and no holder film, the twists and plot holes are filled with great lines, great performances, for a film this low budget, and the look and style of the costumes, reminding us of Star Wars, but grittier and dirtier.
This film is one of my all time favourite Sci-Fi as it doesn't consist of space battles ( and don't even try, thank lord, instead of your standard let's put it on a string prospect) or try and coop up some visuals that look as appealing as a pile of dog sh*t.
Here the look, scale, the tension, the way everything is detailed in movements, and the way the story holds you still, and with minimal action scenes, but a couple of punches, it does deliver, in the faces of many SCI-Fi films.
In retrospect many will hate this so called shambolic low budget jerk off, which it is, but in a way that people I can over look it. A passionate man, worthy of cinema hasn't had a break yet but he soon will, but as long as he isn't picked up he will still deliver the goods, with such films in the form as HUNTER PREY.
With a bigger budget he will go all the way, but he still is a master at grasping an audience with his charisma, and style, and passion, and nerdiness and talent.
Overall an enjoyable Sci-Fi film on a shoe string, well elastic band budget, that has great cinematography, great performances, a script full of science fiction lingo a TREKKIE will have an orgy in his pants

I totally agree. aesthetically this is a wonderful movie. The characters, the environment, everything about this movie clicked together. The one thing I complain about is, that as stated, only Sci-Fi fans will truly appreciate. Combine "Enemy Mine" and "The Run Down" you will end up with this film.
I personally loved it. Among the best of Sci-Fi films made ever... Of Course...
My one complaint, It seemed like I was watching a new Roger Coreman film. It is obviously low budget, and some times there seems to be a Coreman bow during the film. Maybe it was intensional, I am unsure, it is there, and I love it.
Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. It is not for everyone. It is a Sci-Fi fan film. And I think it was meant to be. Collera has again dominated the screen, Unfortunately he is again not given the rights to a big film, but he made a small film BIG!!!
