If you are new to the Halloween story this is the box set to pick up. The limited edition set includes Halloween on BLU-RAY,Halloween on standard DVD,the out of print Halloween Extended Cut DVD with scenes cut back into the movie that were shot exclusively for television, the great Halloween doc*mentary Halloween 25 Years Of Terror disc 1 DVD,Halloween 4 The Return Of Michael Myers DVD and what many consider the most weak of the franchise Halloween 5 The Revenge Of Michael Myers.

The set is collected in a standard DVD case that has been designed to hold all six discs. A nice touch if you are looking to save space on your DVD shelf, but I encourage you to display it in the great box it came in. The mask does not come out and is more of a decor item that makes the set pop. The box itself is adorned with behind the scene pictures and a book like pull out to slide the DVD in. This is a great set for Halloween fans and Halloween newbies. It is a tad pricey, but I purchased mine at Best Buy for an even $50. Not bad considering the SRP is around $100.

I could review all the films in the set,but there is no real need too. They all have been remastered and have bonus material. The original Halloween is a classic piece of American cinema and I would assume nothing is going to change that. My only real two problems with the set is that Halloween 2 is not included, but this is due to it's ownership by Universal. The Halloween doc*mentary is fantastic, but in this set you only get the first disc so I encourage you to purchase the doc on it's own so you can watch the special featured packed second disc that includes more interviews and convention footage.

The set is limited to only 20,000 units, sounds like alot, but there is qutie a few Halloween fans on this earth so if you see it and you can spare the money pick it up.
