“The Eternal“, also call “Trance” written and directed by Michael Almereyda, known as “The Mummy,” also can be subtitle as “Kiss of the Mummy.” was movie in the state of your desire. The liking shocking dream state allures you into fantasies looking as real world. The movie opens up stunning looking little girl Alice (O’Rourke) took a break, while facing front of the pond. The rains came down shadowed her tinny soul and covered her with rainy drops. As the girl kept on rainy fever of pouring rainfalls onto pool, narrators seem to be not stopping. It was soft spoken gently kind of voice, calmly setting the stage, touching waters, breathlessly. The opening scenery has to be wonderful, that astounded you. Backdrops of creepiness awkwardly rang in the background, set horror genre up for next stage.

It was told a mummified witch kept in her uncle's basement has bothered girl ever since. Seemingly, the picture set at a slow motion, but holly atmospheric, which showed mummy sleeping on some kind of container, motionlessly spilled out human sweat and gentle smells. Director Almereyda got lots of frightening feeling right on the budget, upset scenes of genre, in fact was that scary? Mummy of the Egyptians? In search of something of everlasting love or maybe anything, may be eternal life? In the midst of reel movie somehow had something even more horrific than what those Egyptians did.

This movie impressed me most were actors such as, Christopher Walken, Alison Elliott (Nora), Jared Harris, and Lois Smith, they were painstaking through. Another impression that I got for it, was movie’s cover art, that thin column of font says, “Evil sleeps, but never dies.” especially some other thing made impact on were chapter of gateway, “In the beginning of the world, the earth and the sky were one creature, and it was the hardest thing to tear them apart. They loved each other so much, and that’s why it rains, because the earth and the sky are always trying to get back together." The irony set upon horror, deeply awaited dead souls, pushed them over the limit, even so down under the sea.

Yet, a horror may have too many easy shots that at the same time made it even more so terrifying. A complicated story would become easier in writings when cut short; I am making that in good way. The music was entirely beautifully orchestrated ran through whole movie. Haunting guitars were slowly transforming into rhythms, were harsh at times. I felt easy to listen to, with out being heart pounded by creep speculation. No matter what happened in that movie, it had me suspense and thrill, even I could make up on my mind about whether or not it was enough for my own taste. The movie ended up predictable but captivating, I got deep burning.
