'Dumb and Dumber To' Generates Positive Buzz from Early Screening

The Farrelly Brothers were on hand to greet the first audience for this long awaited sequel, which is being called one of Jim Carrey's best movies.

Most comedy sequels are a disappointment. And when 20 years passes between the original and the second movie, it doesn't often turn out good for the audience. Directors Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly are subverting that notion with Dumb and Dumber To, a follow-up to their 1994 classic Dumb and Dumber. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are returning to reprise their roles as Harry and Lloyd, now on the search for a healthy kidney they can give to one of their Illegitimate children. The Brothers Farrelly have begun the process of showing off their finished movie to the public, appearing in person to welcome audiences to this long-awaited new adventure for these two dimwitted pals. Well, the verdict is in via Twitter, and fans who attended the first test screening seem to be enjoying what they are seeing. We don't know when a trailer will debut just yet, but take a look at some of the early buzz.

Dumb and Dumber To comes to theaters November 14th, 2014 and stars Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, Kathleen Turner, Brady Bluhm, Laurie Holden, Rachel Melvin, Steve Tom, Rob Riggle. The film is directed by Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly.

@Dr-Devious I'm not sure there will be an Ave Ventura 3 and with Jim Carrey returning. But, If there ever will be one and with him returning for it, then that would be great because those movies are pretty hilarious! :) .

@forrestgump1 Went to an early screen of Scream 4. The movie wasn't completely finished, as most screenings like that don't show completed work, but the only thing different from the finished movie was they deleted one of the opening scenes and completed visuals on scenes here and there.

However that was the only screening I have been to that has been like that. I did get invited to one last year however they canceled the event days before, and never gave away the name of the film. I follow websites that give out tickets to the local free screenings for the movie critics. Not sure if you have been to one of those, but basically a few members of the press get their seats, and the rest of the theater gets filled by fans who go on these websites to get tickets. One of the sites I am signed up on sends me an e-mail about these maybe once a year if I am lucky. It is very exciting, but of course you cannot legally talk about screenings such as the one here for Dumb and Dumber To.

@Myles-Warden No, you are likely a studio plant here to push your garbage. I'm excited to see the film later in the year, however pushing this BS is taking things too far.

These are likely to be all paid comments. As someone who has been to one of these very early screen tests before you have to sign a legal waiver saying you will never mention what takes place in the film, until that film is actually released.

And since these comments are so very generic that again shows this likely means it is all completely fake.
