@SpeedyEric We all give these films a chance... just speak out what we feel as we see them...

@felipe-11 possibly... they may just be really late in getting it done... Or the budget wasn't there to get too many marketing out there before the film.. who knows... I just want to see this do well... I am trying to keep my hopes up for it

I enjoy watching the 1995 Judge Dredd movie, and I'm giving this incarnation a chance, because it looks really good for a modern day future film.

@mcleve02 I'm scared this might flop too :(

The trailer looks terrific, and I really want sci-fi films to succeed, but we're a month away from this and I haven't seen a single trailer playing in my theaters, a single poster hung up, or a single TV ad. Although, it's a british-produced film so I'm guessing the marketing must be heavier there.

Agreed, @skywise. Garland has made some excellent Danny Boyle films, as well as Never Let Me Go. Btw, where was the information you found, regarding this film being liked at Comic-Con?

@bawnian-dexeus Yeah... I have my 1.5 star review to do on that...

I want this movie to be good! I'm hoping Karl Urban will be a decent fit (he's no Stallone) but he's got the gritty look and the bad ass vibe.

@mcleve02 Oh yes we had the Diane Lane convorsation! That is a convo I can always enjoy =D

    3 years agoby @skywiseFlag

@skywise ahhh Diane Lane... I think we have had a conversation about her at least once... but anyways... yeah it really should be... anything but rated R is just childish for this character...

@mcleve02 For what it is the original is ok. I give massive points for having Diane Lane feature in it. Any movie with her is a movie I am going to see. But Rob Schneider was too cheesy. I know that is what they were going for but Dredd is and should be an R rated film. That is one thing I am very interested to see here.

    3 years agoby @skywiseFlag

@skywise I thin Stallone definitely fits the part the best, but the first Dredd was pretty blah... Rob Schneider definitely did not help that...

@mcleve02 Your probably right. Everyone remebers Stalone in the role and for most he OWNS that role. I was a fan of the comics before the movie came out and I was very disapointed with the original. For me this is a great place to do it right. Whether that happens or not...we shall see.

@skywise I hope not as well... but I have just got that feeling... I want to be wrong! I want these types of films to succeed...

@mcleve02 Its got one hell of a team working on it. I especially love Alex Garland, one of my top screenwriters working today. I really hope it does not flop or at least that it is actually good.

I am seriously scared for this film... I am so afraid this is going to flop!
