Director Joe Carnahan is in talks to helm an adaptation of Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman's graphic novel Undying Love.

The vampire tale follows an ex-soldier, who falls in love with a vampire. In order to be with her he must kill her creator to release her from his clutches. The catch is that her master is protected by an army of mobsters in the Hong Kong underworld.

Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman wrote the screenplay with Michael De Luca, Stephen L'Heureux and Benderspink producing.

Joe Carnahan most recently directed The Grey and is currently working on Paramount's Death Wish reboot.
