‘Dead Man Down’ Trailer Starring Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace

Dominic Cooper and Terrence Howard also headline this thriller about a professional killer blackmailed into a revenge plot, in theaters this March.

Danish filmmaker Niels Arden Oplev, the man behind the original Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, makes his stateside directorial debut with Dead Man Down, a thriller that reunites him with Noomi Rapace. The actress stars as Beatrice, a woman who is witness to a contract hit by professional killer Victor, played by Colin Farrell. She decides to blackmail the hitman, dragging him into a revenge plot against the pair of criminals that maimed her in a violent heist. We have the first trailer, which plays like a music video. Watch as Beatrice coyly pulls Vic into her troubled world against the backdrop of a very emotional soundtrack.

Dead Man Down was released March 8th, 2013 and stars Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Terrence Howard, Dominic Cooper, Isabelle Huppert, Luis Da Silva Jr., Stu Bennett, Franky G. The film is directed by Niels Arden Oplev.

Clever editing shadowed what seems to be a very mediocre film. Bravo.

Poor quality trailer. Out of sync dialogue, the editing is messy, and I fear they've shown too much as well. That and the film looks visually unappealing with the cinematography being rather morose looking. Those complaints aside, however, and I'm definitely looking forward to this. Great cast, decent premise, and a good song. Let's see if Oplev does a better job directing this film than he did The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

    Anyone know the song, btw?

Looks nice. One thing though. Hollywood pretty boy Colin Farrel as a professional killer? Why not go the distance and pick Robert Pattinson for the part.
